Metered PAYG
Usage is recorded for Stripe metering; delivery can defer until Stripe configuration and customer records are present.

A simple PAYG calculation
If a request verifies 100,000 tokens saved, the Zerix fee is 100,000 / 1,000,000 × $0.50 = $0.05. If verified savings are zero, the fee is zero.

Questions
Is Zerix a subscription product?
No. Zerix is PAYG. Usage and verified savings create metered billing events; recurring plans are intentionally not part of the demo model.
Do I need to move off frontier tiers, budget tiers, private endpoints, or gateway accounts?
No. Zerix prepares context before your existing model call. Keep your provider key in your own secret manager and call your downstream provider from your application.
Why not provider-native compaction?
Provider-native compaction is tied to one vendor and can be opaque. Zerix produces an explicit metrics receipt and preserves code byte-identically while compressing safe prose.
Where are public savings benchmarks?
They are pending attestation. The website should not publish fixed savings, quality, or latency claims until the engine team's verification gate passes.
